BOSCH 019 DIZZY

 Lo spinterogeno Bosch 019 è sicuramente più conosciuto per essere una modifica al pari del Bosch 010, che per essere uno spinterogeno utilizzato dalla stessa Volksagen per sostituire il più vecchio Bosch VJ4BR8, che equipaggiava i motori dei trasporter dal Luglio del 1954 a Maggio del 1959.
The 019, also known as a performance upgrade like the 010, was likewise a Bosch factory replacement for the VJ4BR8, the distributor used on 36 hp powered transporters from July 1954 to May 1959.

In comune con il suo predecessore, il Bosch 019 conserva il funzionamento centrifugo ed il medesimo anticipo di circa 8,5 gradi a 1600 giri/minuto, misurati sullo spinterogeno, e 17 gradi a 3200 giri/minuti, misurati sulla puleggia dell'albero motore.
The 019 is a mechanical advance distributor and shares the same advance curve with its predecessor, providing approximately 8.5 degrees advance at 1600 rpm measured at the distributor, 17 degrees at 3200 rpm at the crankshaft.

BOSCH SCREAMER KIT

Nella scelta di montare l'Empi RAM Induction Power Kit era inclusa anche la sostituzione dello spinterogeno di serie con un Bosch 010.

In choosing to mount the Empi Induction Power RAM Kit was also included the replacement of the stock distributor with a Bosch 010.

Avendo ancora il  motore di serie, dopo essermi confrontato con il buon Bullit, siamo arrivati alla conclusione che uno spinterogeno meno "sportivo" dello 010 sarebbe stato più indicato. Niente di meglio, quindi, che prendere in considerazione un spinterogeno Bosch 019, utilizzato in precedenza sui Transporter di fine anni '50.

Condiser I still mount the stock engine, after speaking with my friend Bullitt, we concluded that a dizzy less "sport" of 010 would be more appropriate.  Nothing better that take into account a Bosch 019 distributor, used previously on the Transporter of the late '50s.

... "the Screamer Kit", un kit per far "urlare" il proprio motore.

Bosch began to sell a kit, consisting of coil and distributor, with a name that talk by itself  ... "The Screamer Kit".

Caratteristica di questo kit era la bobina blu Bosch a 6 Volts ed uno spinterogeno Bosch 019 interamente pitturato dello stesso colore della bobina.

Feature of this kit was a 6 volts Bosch blue coil  and a Bosch 019 distributor painted with the same coil's color.
