NEW BLOG - BEACH WHEELS

Filippo [aka Bullitt] è un caro amico e finalmente ha deciso di mettere a disposizione sul web la sua vastissima esperienza sul mondo delle Dune Buggies. 

Considerata la "mission" mi permetto includerlo nel periodo PreCal a tutti gli effetti pur non trattandosi di un Maggiolino.

<< Questo blog nasce perche' penso che non ci siano abbastanza spazi per conoscere e studiare come le dune buggy fossero costruite e vissute nei loro giorni di gloria, a cavallo tra la meta' degli anni sessanta e quella dei settanta. Conoscere e capire quali fossero le caratteristiche ed il significato di queste vetture alla loro epoca, significa non poter piu' tornare indietro su quelli che secondo me sono modernizzazioni ed errori assolutamente non accettabili. Non voglio imporre agli altri le mie opinioni, ma mi piacerebbe mostrare quella che secondo me e' la via giusta per intendere le vecchie macchine da spiaggia. Sono sempre piu' convinto che una volta conosciuta la realta' che volgio mostrarvi non ci saranno piu' alternative nel plasmare la vostra pulce del deserto. Buona visione anche a tutti gli appassionati ed i curiosi che vorranno semplicemente documentarsi. Questo blog e' basato sulle immagini, ma consideratemi disponibile a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda

This blog starts because i think there's no space enough to meet and study how dune buggy were built and lived back in the glory days, between the half of the Sixties and Seventies one. to learn and understand what were the features and the meaning of these cars at their time, means never being able to go back to modernizations, upgrades and mistakes absolutely unacceptable. I don't want to oblige other person to see life from my point of wiew, but i would like to show the right way to intend vintage beach cars in my opinion. i am surer and surer that after showing to you reality i am in love with, you won't have alternatives in building your dune buggy. Welcome to curious people too, and then to person that only want to increase their culture. this blog is based on images, but i will be happ to answer any question. >>

Trovata sul sito delle aste me la son vista soffiare sotto il naso all'ultimo secondo da Davvide della Bollate County :-D

Found at the auctions web site but lost at the last second ... Davvide from Bollate County won the bid :-D

Ci avevo messo su una pietra, ma a volte il destino ci mette lo zampino.

... I tried to forget it, but sometimes things have to follow their way.

Trattandosi di una marmitta nos Davvide non ha avuto il coraggio di modificarla per poterla montare sulla sia VW, quindi ha cambiato proprietario in un attimo. A buon rendere Davvide.

This is a nos muffler and Davvide didn't have the courage to modify to fit on his VW, so this Ansa has changed owner in an second. Thanks to Davvide.
