SANDBLASTED !!!

Non so come ho fatto, ma nel giro di 3 giorni compreso week end, i cerchi son stati sabbiati ... in realtà so benissimo di chi è merito ...

I don't know how I did, but in 3 days, week end included, my new rims have been sand blasted ... in the truth I know very well who is the credits owner ...

... Luigi e suo fratello in men che non si dica me li hanno sabbiati ... 2 ragazzi che meritano e chi nell'area di Milano avesse bisogno di lucidature, cromature e sabbiature sarò ben felice di indirizzarli da loro.

.... Luigi and his brother in really few time sandblasted them ... 2 guys who have all my respect ... nice, capable, competent, cheap and fast ... I'll be glad to give their address to everyone, near Milan [Italy] need to clean, chrome or sandblast cars and bikes parts.

MERRY LEMMERZ & HAPPY NEW KRONPRINZ

Perchè usare riproduzioni quando esistono ancora gli originali ?

Quest'anno Babbo Natale ci ha portato una coppia di cerchi 356, un Lemmertz ed un Kronprinz.

Ora si tratta "solo" di rimetterli a nuovo ...

Qualcuno ha sottomano il codice colore corretto ?

Why use fake 356 rims when original are still available ?

This year Santa gave us as "gift" a Lemmertz and a Kronprinz.

Now we have "only" to restore them ...

 Does anybody have the correct color code ?

WHEELS & TIRES

Come primo passo, per dare il via al cambiamento, cerchi e gomme sono la base .

Nel mio caso ho optato per delle repliche cromate dei cerchi Porsche 356.

Usually wheel and tires are the first step to give the green light to change, so I choose Porsche 356 replica rims.

Canali da 4" e 1/2 all'anteriore e da 5" e 1/2 al posteriore offrono la possibilità di montare misure diverse di pneumatici tra i 2 assi.

Per le gomme, visto che sono ancora in fase di apprendimento, la scelta è caduta su delle Firestone F560 radiali; 155 all'anteriore e 205 al posteriore. Minima spesa e massima resa.

4" 1/2 and 5 1/2 rim's channel will offer the opportunity to mount different sizes of tires between the front and rear axle. I use Firestone F560, 155 for the front and 205 for the rear.

Quando poi il livello generale del dettaglio salirà allora provvederò alla sostituzione con delle gomme tessili .

Altra caratteristica del periodo pre-cal è quello di montare le coppe ruota solo sull'anteriore, nel mio caso sempre delle repliche 356, e pitturare di rosso i tamburi posteriori.

Soon as I can I'll mount textiles tires, for example, Firestone Wide Oval, or Good Year Blue Streak. Another pre-cal's feature is to use only the front hub cups, in my case Porsche 356 cups, and red paint for the rear drums.
